When the opportunity arose to write an article about love, and I paused to gather my thoughts, the first association that sprang to mind was physical contact.

The prism of viewing love through the body is natural for me because my profession involves bodywork therapy. As a therapist, I accompany you with attentive presence – first I listen and observe, and then, from a somatic perspective, I „read” what you have previously expressed with your words.

I place my hands on your body and wait for a signal of readiness to receive touch. An openness to release, to slowly „unwind” the knots of tension that have accumulated in the body over the years due to a lack of love, tenderness, gentleness, and acceptance. In the silence of touch, there often arises a longing for attentive, non-judgmental contact, for a love that doesn't need to be earned, that doesn't depend on the moods of others, nor on our achievements.

You often come to me when you're at the end of your tether, after a full day of tasks, work, taking the children here and there, shopping and responsibilities. You leave yourself until the last moment, when you feel as if you're standing on the edge of a cliff or with your last ounce of strength...
