If there are such binders that unite units into groups with a similar way of thinking and experience, then culture certainly belongs to them. Yes, as a very broad concept, it does not only encompass the most outstanding works and thoughts. It also includes contemporary books, films, music, or art. What unites them is a message conveyed through common codes, the most important of which is language.
Our activities include direct and derivative references to these concepts. Created by Polish emigrants, it naturally relies on what has been brought from the homeland – language, culture, history, and additionally creates further small elements added to the common collection – poems, journalism, and articles. Our sensitivity and the perspective on the world altered by emigration influence our publication topics. Without catchy articles, without chasing sensationalism, and without provocation.
Emigraniada.com is a Polish diaspora journalistic and cultural portal, at its core a editorial team composed of three completely different individuals. On a very strong foundation of conscientiousness, the desire to do Anything else and passion for writing, the initial writing of articles for a web portal has turned into something deeper and more meaningful.
During one of the editorial meetings, a seemingly innocent phrase was uttered: „What if..."
