On the hills, in the valleys and by the ancient stones of Ireland, you can still feel the energy that pulsed here a thousand years ago. These are places where history meets legend, and nature meets spirituality. Not always known, sometimes hidden from plain sight, they attract those who can listen to their subtle voice. In the following articles, I will take you on a journey through the most powerful and beautiful places of power on the island, discovering both the great historical centres and personal corners full of magic.

Since time immemorial, humans have felt that there are special places on Earth – places where the air trembles with invisible energy, where time flows differently, and where the heart beats faster. These are places of power – spaces where the energy of the Earth and the Cosmos concentrates, where the prayers, songs, and rituals of people who found contact with something greater than themselves have met for centuries.

Some of these places were hills, others springs, lakes, or stone circles. They were characterised by the extraordinary power of nature, as well as the events that took place there – community gatherings, sacred rituals, healing ceremonies. It is precisely for this reason that they remained marked by a sanctity that time could not erase.

When Christianity entered the old lands of Europe, it could not destroy what had lived in people's hearts for centuries. It did not silence the voice of the hills, rivers, stones, or ancient groves, so it covered them with a new layer – churches were built on Celtic hills, monks appeared alongside druids, and on Slavic lands, ancient groves of gods became chapels. Holidays associated with the cycles of nature received new names, but fire, water, and earth still pulsed with the same power. The history of the Celts and Slavs shows that despite different languages and traditions, the same things were always important...
