Interview with Kinga Berdzik de Ortiz
Kinga Berdzik de Ortiz has been living in Mexico for thirteen years, where she combines family life with her mission of building bridges between Polish women scattered all over the world.
Maja Izabela Zahorska: I'm happy that I could meet you, Kinga, whom I warmly welcome today and with whom I have the pleasure of conducting this interview. You have created a wonderful project, Polish Women on 7 Continents. It's a place that already brings together women from all over the world. Today, we will talk primarily about your project, about the influence of women, about our capabilities, and about the importance of mutual support. How did it all begin?
Kinga Berdzik de Ortiz: I live in Mexico. During the COVID pandemic, I had the idea to reach out to women. First, I started by building my website and showcasing my life here in Mexico. At the same time, I was participating in an online project where, along with other women, we read a self-help book every day. One chapter each day, we met online at the same time and shared our thoughts. It was an incredibly valuable experience. That's when I got comfortable in front of the camera, learned the technical side of things, and felt the power of online meetings.
