Kasia Mikolajczyk: I am meeting with Mariola Mastek and Barbara Ożga, founders of CKU, Women's Symposium and Portraits of Emigration. The subject of our meeting is:

„Love as the foundation for action in various aspects of life”. Before we move on to this topic, however, I wanted to ask about your feelings after the premiere of the first edition. Portraits of Emigration.

Mariola MastekEmotion. It was an amazing event, especially as the first Symposium of Polish Women in Ireland was held recently, which brought together many wonderful, intelligent, already active and accomplished women. Within six months, several projects have been created, including – in a very short time – a plan to create a magazine. When I heard the delight of Maja and yours, Kasia, it was only four months later that we now have Portraits of Emigration. For me personally, this project is my emigration portrait. Portraits of Emigration They are a portrait of me.

Barbara OżgaI am enormously moved and incredibly surprised.
