On March 22nd, a Polish diaspora event titled „Slavic Roots – A Story That Connects Generations” took place at POSK in London, bringing together lovers of culture and tradition. The event's programme was filled with artistic presentations, poetry, music, singing, and storytelling, as well as a live painting demonstration, during which a picture was created step-by-step in front of the audience. The workshops on creating traditional 'motanka' dolls and the exhibition of handicrafts and paintings also proved popular.

During the meeting, there were also premieres of two publications: the children's book „Marzanna and the Little Devil„ by Elżbieta Dziedzic and Katarzyna Nosal's ”Little Zosia's Stories. Little Sadnesses". Participants had the opportunity to talk with the authors, get autographs, and learn about the background of their books.
The event, prepared with the Polish community in Great Britain in mind, created an atmosphere of closeness and togetherness.
The event was organised by Małgorzata Asman and hosted by Elżbieta Dziedzic – Polska Litera.

Magazine Portraits of Emigration was the media patron of this event.
