Title of the short story cycle: „Bridge Between Worlds”
Most pomiędzy światami (The Bridge Between Worlds) is a cycle of short stories dedicated to young people. It's a literary journey through the emotions, questions, and choices that are so important for teenagers standing on the brink of adulthood. The stories will touch upon friendship, love, and the courage to face challenges, as well as the values that build bridges between the world of children and the world of adults.
Wooden furniture has a soul and hides a secret within it. The mahogany table, though solid and well-made, bore signs of wear. This piece of furniture had travelled a long way from Poland and remembered more than one family story. It had already settled in well in its new home. Its legs had left their mark on the soft, medium-quality carpet covering, so typical of many Irish homes. The round table was an important piece of furniture in the Rostek family, and it is about them that this story will be told.
